Engine and engine cooling
The contact owns a 2019 Audi A7. The contact stated the engine had been overheating, and the contact had to pull over to add coolant to the coolant reservoir before continuing to drive. The failure became more persistent within the last 2 months. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, and it was determined that there was coolant leaking into the engine from the water pump, vacuum lines, and the cooling system was inoperable. The part was ordered to repair the vehicle. The contact researched online and discovered that there was a Class Action Lawsuit associated with the failure. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 50,000.

The car shut-off on three separate occasions while driving on [XXX] in Wesley Chapel, FL (twice) and once while traveling south on [XXX] in Orlando. There were multiple warning lamps and messages and I am requesting the BSG be replaced on this vehicle and the dealership refuses to replace it, although there is a manufacturer recall on this part that is a ticking time-bomb that may cause the car to shut off again while driving. When this occurs, you cannot put the car in gear and it presented a clear and present danger to the driver and their passengers. The dealership continues to try and fix other things and not the immediate and present issue of the BSG replacement. Someone please assist…

In January 2026 I received a recall notice (NHSTA # 25V900) from Audi USA regarding a potential malfunction in the rear-view camera system of my 2019 Audi A7. The notice stated this would be corrected by a dealer of my choice making a software update, and that the work would take a maximum of one-half day. On February 25, 2026, I delivered my vehicle to Audi Richmond, Richmond, VA, where I had purchased the vehicle new. On that date, it had approximately 34,000 miles on it. The service adviser stated the corrective work would take about 4 hours, but later I received a call from him saying there was a problem downloading the software update and they would need to keep my vehicle overnight.…

My 2019 Audi A7 was brought to Audi Dallas on January 20, 2026, for a manufacturer safety recall involving a software update (Recall 90TV / NHTSA 25V900). During or immediately following the recall repair, the vehicle developed persistent safety system failures, including rear backup camera malfunction and repeated safety warning alerts. As a result of these recall-related failures, the vehicle has been out of service for a cumulative total of approximately twenty-four (24) days. Audi and the authorized dealer have been unable to diagnose or permanently correct the issue despite extended possession of the vehicle and multiple repair attempts. The failure of the rear camera and related…
