NHTSA recall 22V102000 · Feb 23, 2022 · 49 vehicles

Problem: Volkswagen Group of America, Inc. (Audi) is recalling certain 2022 RS5 coupe and RS5 Sportback vehicles. The value for the maximum combined weight of occupants and cargo on the B-pillar Tire and Loading information label is incorrect. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 110, "Tire and Loading Information."

Risk: While referencing the B-pillar label, the operator may overload the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.

Fix: Dealers will install a corrected label on the B-pillar, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed March 31, 2022. Owners may contact Audi customer service at 1-800-253-2834. Audi's number for this recall is 44S3.

Recall repairs are free at any authorised dealer. A recall listed here may already have been fixed on a particular car: enter its 17-character VIN at nhtsa.gov/recalls to see open recalls.
