on 10/22/2026 at approximately 4:40pm the vehicle started beeping and came to an abrupt stop, there was nothing in front of vehicle to solicit this response. The vehicle suffered a critical safety failure involving un-commanded phantom braking that nearly caused a severe rear-end collision. This caused the other vehicle that almost hit me to become enraged, insult and cuss me out and chase me down up the road. This was not operator error, and had an accident occured, it would have looked like the operator was at fault for coming to an abrupt stop.

My 2024 Nissan Kicks, with approximately 50,000 miles, experienced a spontaneous rear windshield failure on October 13, 2026, while parked in my residential driveway. The vehicle had been parked in the garage overnight. An electrician arriving at the property noticed the rear windshield actively cracking and alerted my son. My son went outside and could hear the glass continuing to crackle and fracture while the vehicle remained stationary. Nearly the entire rear windshield shattered into small fragments, with much of the glass remaining in place. The rubber seal surrounding the glass also became detached. There was no known collision or impact. Photographs and witnesses are available. I am…

The rear windshield shattered ~ while driving for no reason. I did have the rear defrost on, but it was 60 degrees out, so that should not have happened. I've used it in the winter when it was below zero and nothing happened then. Now I'm afraid to use it at all. Just a giant pain having it replaced & now I'm scared. AND as a result, there's glass all over the driveway which will likely puncture a tire and they're telling me to get my car detailed because they can't remove all the glass from inside either. Unbelievable hassle I don't have time for. Also, the front collision warning comes on at totally random times ~ when there's no one in front of me at all or when there are several car…
