NHTSA recall 95V107000 · May 25, 1995 · 11,562 vehicles
Problem: THE SAFETY BELT WEBBING GUIDE (B-PILLAR "D" RING) CAN BREAK UNDER HEAVY LOADS.
Risk: THIS CONDITION CAN REDUCE THE RESTRAINING CAPABILITIES OF THE SAFETY BELT IN THE EVENT OF AN ACCIDENT.
Fix: DEALERS WILL REINFORCE THE METAL PLATE WHICH IS PART OF THE WEBBING GUIDE ("D" RING) IN THE UPPER SAFETY BELT ANCHORAGE FOR BOTH FRONT SEATING POSITIONS.
Recall repairs are free at any authorised dealer. A recall listed here may already have been fixed on a particular car: enter its 17-character VIN at nhtsa.gov/recalls to see open recalls.
