Recent owner complaints
- Service brakes
This 2024 Cadillac CT5v car with 15500 miles has a failed ECBM (Electronic Brake Control Module) per Sunset Cadillac in Sarasota on Bay Street, causing dragging brakes that requires a complete brake change because of severe overheating. Consequential damage caused by a failed warrantied module, including effected parts are covered by law under GM's factory warranty. I also have a Platinum Maintenance Plan plus an 8 year Platinum Extended Warranty Plan purchased through GM.
- Air bagsCrash1 injury
Air bags did not deploy in bad car accident. Safety issue.
- Structure
issue with all doors and trunk moldings - after heavy rain or after washing the car, the frames inside all doors and trunk have water. This will cause rust and body rot over time. Spoke with the dealer yesterday regarding this issue and was told that all cars have issues and I am not alone complaining about this issue.
Owner complaints are submitted to NHTSA by the public and are not verified. Shown as filed (NHTSA removes personal details); long reports are shortened.
