I am submitting this complaint regarding a potential safety defect involving windshield water intrusion on my 2017 Range Rover Evoque. My vehicle is experiencing water entering the passenger and driver's compartment through the windshield/sealing area. This is not ordinary cosmetic wear or damage to the windshield. The concern is that the windshield is not properly preventing water from entering the vehicle. There's also malfunctioning with the display screen which seems to be a direct result of water leakage. Land Rover previously issued Service Action N221 concerning windshield water leaks on certain 2015â2018 Range Rover Evoque vehicles. I contacted an authorized Land Rover dealership…

Component Structure: Equipment Summary: While driving when the weather is raining the water is dripping inside the SUV. A leaking, separating roof/windshield on the Range Rover often indicates a faulty windshield seal or, more commonly, clogged/disconnected sunroof so it appears to be separating parts or removing the glue. At this point its a matter of time there will be a separation or gap between the windshield and the roof and it will be unsafe and a disaster. I am the owner of a 2017 Range Rover Evoque (VIN: [XXX] ) purchased from Star Auto Works in March 2025 with approximately 56,000 miles. Within months of purchase, the vehicle suffered a catastrophic turbocharger failure, a critical powertrain component that renders the vehicle unreliable and potentially unsafe to operate. A turbocharger is engineered to last significantly longer than the mileage at failure. This type of premature breakdown strongly indicates a manufacturing defect rather than normal wear. As such, the circumstances raise substantial concerns regarding: Breach of the Implied Warranty of Merchantability â The vehicle was not reasonably fit for its ordinary purpose at the…

Making you stranded wherever you are. This has caused a great amount of stress. Having to call road side assistance, and waiting hours to get help, this feature on the 2017 Range Rover need great support and attention.

The timing chain went out, and it is a common problem with this same make and model of vehicle, and no recall has been issued. My safety was at risk because my car showed no warnings of breaking down, it was well maintained, and there was a manufacturing error that caused me to suddenly lose all power on a highway. I couldnât make it to a safe area to pull over, and was stuck on the side of the highway for hours not understand why my car was not running
