Problem: Winnebago Towable (Winnebago) is recalling certain 2026 Access travel trailers. The Gross Axle Weight Rating (GAWR) may not be listed on the certification label. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of 49 CFR Part 567, "Certification."
Risk: Missing weight information may lead to unintentionally overloading the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.
Fix: Dealers or owners will replace the label, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed March 13, 2026. Owners may contact Winnebago customer service at 1-574-825-5280 Ext. 5220. Winnebago's number for this recall is 44448204.
Recall repairs are free at any authorised dealer. A recall listed here may already have been fixed on a particular car: enter its 17-character VIN at nhtsa.gov/recalls to see open recalls.

Oct 23, 2026Structure › Body The door on the rv trailer does not close or seal properly causing black mold and water intrusion every time it rains! When using camper with all the doors and windows shut and propane heater going on cold nights the carbon monoxide detector keeps going off because carbon monoxide must be entering through the door that was not installed correctly at the factory!! The proximity of the heater exhaust is to close to the main door that does not properly close!
Owner complaints are submitted to NHTSA by the public and are not verified. Shown as filed (NHTSA removes personal details); long reports are shortened.
