Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2026-2027 Cedar Creek recreational trailers. The slide switch may have been installed without proper overcurrent protection.

Risk

A unprotected slide switch can cause the wire to overheat, increasing the risk of a fire.

Fix

Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2025-2026 Cedar Creek fifth wheel recreational trailers. The sleeper sofa may block the bunkroom door.

Risk

A blocked door can prevent or delay occupants from exiting during an emergency, increasing their risk of injury.

Fix

Dealers will correct the swing of the bunkroom door, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed October 19, 2026. Owners may contact Forest River customer service at 1-574-825-4995. Forest River's number for this recall is 20-2098.

Problem

Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2026 Riverstone, Cedar Creek, and 2024 R-Pod recreational trailers equipped with Curt Touring Coil Suspensions. The shock bolts may have been incorrectly tightened.

Risk

Broken shock retainer bolt heads and washers may detach and become a road hazard for other vehicles, increasing the risk of a crash.

Fix

Dealers will replace the shock bolts, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed July 6, 2026. Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2026 Cedar Creek recreational trailers. The trailers may not have an emergency exit window installed.

Risk

A missing emergency exit window can prevent passengers from exiting in the event of an emergency, increasing the risk of injury.

Fix

Dealers will install red window operating hardware and an exit sticker for the window, free of charge. All vehicles are still in dealer inventory and therefore no owner notification letters will be mailed. Owners may contact Forest River customer service at 1-260-593-4000.
