Problem: Grand Design RV, LLC (Grand Design) is recalling certain 2026-2027 Imagine travel trailers. The installed safety chains are underrated for the Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR).
Risk: Underrated chains can allow the trailer to detach from the tow vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.
Fix: Dealers will replace the safety chains, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed November 19, 2026. Owners may contact Grand Design customer service at 1-574-825-9679. Grand Design's number for this recall is 910069.

Recall 26V4900002 vehiclesopened after NHTSA action (ODI)

Problem: Grand Design RV, LLC (Grand Design) is recalling certain 2026 Imagine travel trailers. The outlet cover may have been improperly secured, allowing screws to contact wiring.
Risk: Contact with wiring may cause a short circuit or an electrical arc, increasing the risk of a fire.
Fix: Dealers will inspect and repair the screws as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed August 21, 2026. Owners may contact Grand Design customer service at 1-574-825-9679. Grand Design's number for this recall is 910064.
