I bought the vehicle. Everything was cool and I have this issue with the steering that is on recall. I contacted the Honda dealer. They said that I have to contact Canada because it was manufactured in Canada and give me a runaround. My VIN number shows no recalls but the year make a model is on recall in both US and Canada having an issue because the car is in our title vehicle which is reconstructed but everything I guess that was done to the vehicle without my knowledge before everything has been bought at the Honda dealer where I donât know.

I don't have an issue with the seat. my car is shaking randomly and no one knows why. I tryed tired and rims. well its a common issue with these cars.

The contact owns a 2023 Honda Civic Si. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed on the same day the vehicle was purchased from the dealer, the contact noticed a strong oil odor inside the vehicle. The contact parked the vehicle and noticed oil leaking onto the ground and throughout the undercarriage. The dealer was contacted and informed the contact that a technician had forgotten to install the oil drain plug; however, the vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 36,000.
- Electrical system
Rear shelf vibration/ rattle when listening to music at any volume. Sounds like a speaker is busted but isnât. My 2023 Honda Civic SI is at the dealership now and I have informed them of this issue.

While driving I'm having difficulting staying in the center of my lane because my steering wheel is not allowing minor steering adjustments without sticking in place temporarily. I need to apply more pressure than expected to turn the wheel before it unsticks. My local Honda dealer recently replicated this behavior on a test drive and is recommending I replace my EPS gearbox, outlined in a service bulletin issued by Honda related to this symptom (Service Bulletin/Manufacturer communication: 23-037). Honda has agreed to pay 50% of the repair since I am out of warranty - my mileage on my vehicle is a little over 41K. I am asking Honda to pay for the full repair given the related EPS saftey…

I bought my car brand new from Honda in 2023. When the car had about 20,000 miles on it I took it in to my dealer for a steering issue âsticky steeringâ they said they could not reproduce the issue. Fast forward about a year they finally came out with a recall for the issue. I took the car in for the recall the repaired it and it was fixed for about a year and now the issues with the steering have come back. The dealership told me they performed the recall again and it did not fix the issue this time and they said I need a new steering rack. Honda is not wanting to replace the steering rack they want me to pay part of the cost. How am I responsible for paying for repairs on something…
- Seat belts
The front drivers side seatbelts DO NOT retract, the just hang there, does not seem like a properly working seatbelt, if itâs not able to retract whatâs to say itâs fully able to protect you in an accident, and the front drivers side seat is loose and creaks and squeaks

- Momentary Increased Steering EffortClosedLed to recall 24V744
On November 29, 2023, the Oï¬ce of Defects Investigation (ODI) opened this Engineering Analysis (EA23003) to assess allegations of momentary increase in steering eï¬ort in model years (MY) 2022-2023 Honda Civic, 2023MY Honda CR-V, and 2023MY Acura Integra vehicles (subject vehicles). The complaints received by ODI alleged that the subject vehicles experienced a momentary increase in required steering eï¬ort (described as âsticky steeringâ) occurring mostly at highway speeds after driving for an extended amount of time; these complaints could not be duplicated during dealer service techniciansâ quick test drives. The complaints had been received over the previous two years with most occurring with low vehicle mileage. The steering gear of these vehicles is aided by an electrical power assist unit. This power assist unit inputs force on the steering rack via a worm gear and worm…
- Momentary Increased Steering EffortClosed
On March 17, 2023, The Office of Defects Investigation (ODI) opened Preliminary Evaluation (PE23-005) to access the alleged defect of momentary increase in steering effort in model years (MY) 2022 and 2023 Honda Civic vehicles. The complaints report that the momentary increase in steering effort (described as "sticky steering") occurs mostly at highway speeds after driving for a certain amount of time. The reports have been received over the past 2 years with most occurring with low vehicle mileage. The steering gear contains a unit that includes a worm gear and a worm wheel. Honda stated this condition of momentary increase in steering effort occurs due to two factors within this unit. During manufacturing, the worm wheel goes through annealing and component conditioning processes. These processes caused internal stress and strain within the worm wheel. This strain was slowly released…
