Problem: Mercedes-Benz USA, LLC (MBUSA) is recalling certain 2021-2022 GLE 350 and 2021-2022 GLE 450 vehicles. The front acceleration sensor's wiring harness may be routed incorrectly, which can prevent the front air bags from deploying properly. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 208, "Occupant Crash Protection."
Risk: An air bag that does not deploy properly can increase the risk of injury in the event of a crash.
Fix: Dealers will inspect and reroute the wiring harness, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed November 1, 2024. Owners may contact MBUSA customer service at 1-800-367-6372. MBUSA's number for this recall is 2024100006.

A 48-Volt ground connection under the passenger seat may not be secured properly, resulting in the ground connection overheating.
Risk: An overheated ground connection can increase the risk of a fire.

An error in the communication module's SIM card software can cause a mobile network connection failure, disabling the emergency call (eCall) system.
Risk: A disabled eCall system would prevent a vehicle occupant from contacting the emergency services call center in an emergency, potentially delaying emergency responders and increasing the risk of injury.

My wife was driving on [XXX] going ~70mph. Without warning the engine shut down and the vehicle decelerated. A message popped up saying â48 volt malfunctionâ. A google search indicated the car should not be driven as it could result in a fire. Note the Mercedes dealer in Centerville Ohio completed recall campaign: 2024040002 in May, 2024. The contact pulled over to the side of the roadway, restarted the vehicle, and continued driving. The vehicle was taken to a local dealer to be diagnosed; however, the dealer found no cause for the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 20,000.

P275/50R2i bought this car new after 18000 miles my 2 back tires getting flat dealer did not help and it end I paid $950 from my pocket it was bad idea about Mercedes then in 2023 my front tires getting bad too my car was 26000 miles and it end with replacing my front tire and my rear tires because rear tires getting bad again and I paid from my pocket again on discount tire store on Orland Park dealer refuse to help itâs very bad experience if anyone know how I can get help let me know please I paid $2100 dollars from my pocket on new car value $72000 bad tire Bridgestone Allianz arena run flat no warranty and manufacturer refused to help to now I have michelin tire hope nothing happened

My 2022 Mercedes GLE450 had water intrusion from the an AC vent hose that was not 'fixed' properly by Mercedes after they issues a recall for ALL 2020 and 2021 GLE450's. It took 9 months, endless gaslighting from Mercedes that I flooded the vehicle myself, a failed state-sponsored arbitration hearing only to find out Mercedes did NOT properly diagnose the vehicle from the start. I had officially 'given up' after almost a year of fighting this was not my fault, only to drive disassembled passenger seat and floor area down to Mercedes... to see the vehicle dripping water right into where nearly $20,000 of electronics were compromised. On February 4 2024 my SUVs vehicle roof glass panel between windshield and panoramic glass roof shattered with no impact to it while parking in my homes' driveway. I heard a pop and thought I'd ran over some object. After inspecting vehicle nothing had been ran over and noticed the glass panel on top of windshield on roof shattered across whole entire end to end.

Vehicle fails to accelerate when the accelerator is pushed all the way to the floor. Maximum acceleration is 20-25 mph. The vehicle is available for inspection upon request. My safety is greatly put at risk in normal traffic conditions due to the inability to accelerate. I am also unable to drive on the highway or anywhere requiring higher rates of speed. I am also unable to quickly remove myself from a dangerous traffic situation where acceleration is required. The dealer confirmed the problem but has been dishonest about the source of the problem and whether it has truly been repaired. First they said it was a software problem that they could not fix.
