Fuel/propulsion system
My 2023 Ram ProMaster 3500 Van has a fuel leak where the filler-tube goes into the gas tank. I believe others have reported the factory defect & safty hazard. The manufacturer and the dealer will NOT fix it without charging me over $2,500. The vehicle is out of its 3-year, 36,000-mile warranty, but I believe this factory manufacturing defect should be covered. The cost will discourage people from getting it fixed and could lead to major issues later. Jacksonville Chrysler, Jeep Dodge Ram Westside has my vehicle now.

RAM is or was (I hope someone checks) still selling the part with the defective recalled steering assembly for the issue with the corroded wiring harness. My van has been sitting in the shop for nearly a month disabled due to their entire steering system failing from this recalled issue, on top of the two week wait it was disabled waiting for the mechanic to fit it in their schedule. A little over two weeks ago from this day, October 17th, the mechanic ordered that part which makes no sense since the recall occurred at the end of last month yet the company the mechanic was buying from was still selling the part. Once the mechanic shop retrieved the part it was only then when I was told that…

Water intrusion into the electric power steering rack/harness causing failure. The steering wheel was shaking violently and rendering the vehicle completely undrivable. Once the vehicle dried out, the symptoms went away.

Power steering became inoperable requiring force to steer, with pulsing resistance against the direction being turned. Wasn't a large safety concern, as I was trying to maneuver in a parking lot. Happened suddenly.Lights showed power assistant needs serviced. Had it taken to a dealer where it was determined that water intrusion was the cause. Quoted at $6,500. Can't afford that. Had it taken home

What component or system failed or malfunctioned, and is it available for inspection upon request? The plastic fuel tank failed. It cracked/split open and is actively leaking gasoline. The failure is at or near the filler inlet connection where the filler pipe attaches to the tank. The tank is still installed on the vehicle and is available for inspection upon request at Lakeland Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram (or can be made available wherever the vehicle is located). How was your safety or the safety of others put at risk? Gasoline is leaking from the tank onto the ground. This creates a serious fire and explosion hazard, especially near the exhaust system. The vehicle cannot be safely driven…

Rear backup camera fails intermittently when shifting into reverse. Failure is a blue screen on the driver display. Seems the same problem is currently under recall for other Ram models.

This vehicle was a rental RV from Roadsurfer in [XXX]. Electronic issues caused a fault in the ABS brake system that eventually damage the front axle assembly, which was replaced during our vacation. The electronic issue was not addressed so the ABS brake problem continued throughout the trip, causing major safety issues as the brakes kept trying to set while driving at highway speeds. After the repair was completed, we went to an auto repair store to see if we could see codes that were being thrown, and there were multiple codes already present for this issue when we rented the RV. We also discovered an airbag sensor signal that had not been addressed. we then went to a dealer for this…

The contact owns a 2023 Ram Promaster 3500. The contact stated that while driving 65 MPH, there was smoke coming from under the hood. Additionally, there was an abnormal burning odor inside the vehicle. The dealer was contacted by phone and made aware of the failure. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was confirmed that the failure and extended damages were associated with the unrepaired recall. The contact researched and discovered recalls, NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V720000 (Engine and Engine Cooling) and 25V330000 (Back Over Prevention); that were associated with the VIN. The manufacturer was contacted by phone, and a case was filed. The failure mileage was approximately 200,000.
