Component: Multimedia display and connected-services software. Since September 2024, a pop-up has appeared on the center screen about every 7-10 minutes while driving: âEnter 6-digit PIN,â with âReset PIN?â and a grayed-out âSubmitâ button. I have never set or used a PIN. The vehicle is available for inspection. Safety risk: The pop-up takes over the screen and hides navigation while the vehicle is moving. It occurs with both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, which points to the vehicleâs software rather than the phone. To clear it, the driver must look away from the road, tap X, then tap the CarPlay icon to restore navigation. On a 30-minute drive, that is three interruptions…

The recall repair was performed by Toyota dealer , Larry Miller Toyota, Murray UT, XXX, and involved the software update for the vehicle's pedestrian warning sound when operating in reverse. The AC condenser on my 2024 Toyota Corolla Cross suffered a premature failure due to a critical vehicle design flaw. The lower bumper grille features exceptionally wide gaps placed very low to the ground, leaving the delicate aluminum condenser completely unprotected from routine, foreseeable highway debris. Because the climate control system regulates internal dehumidification, this premature failure directly compromises the vehicle's windshield defrosting and defogging capabilities. During temperature changes and damp conditions, the vehicle is unable to adequately clear the inside glass, severely impairing driver visibility and creating an immediate operating hazard on the road.

I had left work less than 2 miles away. I was sitting at red light. The light turn green I took my foot off brake my screen went black and power failed. I put it in park and it restart. Power came back on. I turn off A button and drove 22 miles home with no known issues. No warning lights had came on. I found this to be a dangerous situation in traffic. 2 weeks ago I had taken my car for oil change, tire rotation and had a brake flush to dealership in Spanish fort Daphne, AL. I currently have 37,688 miles on car.

UNKNOWN I was driving on an expressway around 2:00 AM June 22nd using my cars adaptive cruise control. There was light rain and my car kept a safe distance from the car in front of me that was going slower than the speed I had set my cruise control to. Suddenly my car accelerated as if the car in front of me was no longer there. I had to quickly apply the brakes to avoid a collision. I have around 8,000 miles on my car and I had no problems the last time I went on a trip using the adaptive cruise control.
