Oct 13, 2026Service brakes Started hearing sounds on both sides of the car while driving. A sound that got louder the faster we went. Driving home on a 65 mile journey, about 12 miles from the house the ABS, Brake, and traction control lights all came on and stayed on. The car felt like it was much harder to drive. Pulled over safely and picked up the manual. Not much in there. Did a quick search on the web and found that this issue seems to be a long standing issue for my model car but that I could try to drive it home but do so with extra caution it donât drive if the roads were wet. Roads were dry. Made it home and started checking fuses, battery, brake fluid and such Finding all apparently working. Took the car…

The totaled, un-repaired vehicle is preserved at a Copart yard and is 100% available for inspection. Safety Risk: The sudden tracking loss at highway speeds caused an immediate, un-correctable collision with a concrete wall, creating a severe, life-threatening risk to myself and surrounding traffic. Jun 10, 2026Exterior lighting the headlights are so dim that the car is not usable at night. I was told by the Cadillac dealership that this is a known problem with GM/Cadillac. The low beam gets so hot that it turns the reflectivity of the chrome to gray. The fix is to replace both right and left headlight assembly.

Sep 21, 2021Structure › Body The trunk which operates by key fob only is no longer remaining open as it should. Instead the trunk will immediately upon opening begin to lower as very quickly. Once the automatic lowering hits the half way point, it will quickly close shut. This a liftgate issue/failure that has great potential to cause extreme harm to someone placing or retrieving items from the trunk; harm that has the potential to be fatal. This is the 2nd major safety issue that I've reported to GM (Cadillac) and no accountability has been taken. I've been told that they are aware of this issue (and the other) as they have been reported by other owners; however, they will love to offer money off if I purchased a new…
Nov 26, 2025Exterior lighting My headlights have deteriorated to the point that the vehicle canât be driven at night. GM/Cadillac acknowledged this as a problem with this particular model. I sent an email to the Cadillac CEO, Rory Harvey. I received a call from an executive assistant stating that this issue was addressed prior to my report. I stated I could not use the vehicle at night due to safety issues. Her response was to offer me a discount on a new purchase. My vehicle now has a significant safety issue. The Cadillac dealer quoted my a price of $2,600 to replace the headlights.
