Problem: Icon Vehicle Dynamics, LLC (Icon) is recalling all 05-UP FSD 2.5 Centerline Stabilizer Kits with part number 65050. The kits were sold as an accessory for certain 2005-2021 Ford F-250 4X4 and F-350 4X4 pickup trucks. The foam ring inside the stabilizer "through shaft" may block the piston ports, possibly causing the steering to lock up.
Risk: If the steering locks, it can increase the risk of a crash.
Fix: Icon will notify owners, and dealers will install a new shock assembly with a revised foam ring and steel support disc, free of charge. The recall began December 21, 2020. Owners may contact Icon customer service at 1-951-689-4266.

Problem: Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain model year 2011-2015 Ford F-350, F-450, and F-550 trucks manufactured February 22, 2010, to January 30, 2015, and equipped with ambulance or fire engine preparation packages. The affected vehicles may detect an incorrect Exhaust Gas Temperature Sensor (EGT) fault indicating that the vehicle is too hot, causing the engine management system to shut down the engine and prevent its immediate restart.
Risk: Engine shut down and a subsequent cool down period may delay medical treatment or assistance to those needing it, increasing their risk of injury.
Fix: Ford will notify owners, and dealers will update the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) software, free of charge. The recall began on April 22, 2015. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. Ford's number for this recall is 15S09.

Recall 14V32800021 vehiclesopened after NHTSA action (ODI)

Problem: Iowa Mold Tooling Co., Inc. will notify owners and dealers to inspect the Muncie PTO pressure switch to determine if it is from the range of defective switches and if required, remove the pressure switch assembly and put a plug in the port where the PTO switch had been installed. This switch was never being utilized. This will be done free of charge. The recall is expected to begin in mid-July 2014. Owners may contact Iowa Mold Tooling Co., Inc. at 1-800-247-5958.
Risk: The leaking oil may soak into the thermal blanket covering the exhaust, which when combined with heat from exhaust, may result in an increased risk of fire.
Fix: Iowa Mold Tooling Co., Inc. will notify owners, and dealers will install a new pressure switch kit that moves the switch away from the exhaust system, free of charge. The recall began on July 28, 2014. Owners may contact Iowa Mold Tooling Co., Inc. at 1-800-247-5958.

Problem: Stahl is recalling certain model year 2009-2014 Ford F-350 Super Duty, F-450 Super Duty, and F-550 Super Duty vehicles modified by Stahl and equipped with certain Muncie Power Products PTO Assemblies. In the affected vehicles, oil may leak from the PTO pressure switch onto a thermal blanket covering the exhaust.

I OWN A 2014 F350 DIESEL TRUCK, MY BUDDY OWNS A 2015 F350 DIESEL TRUCK, A MONTH OR SO AGO HE WAS DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD AND HIS TRUCK STALLED/SHUT DOWN ON HIM DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD CAUSING HIS STEERING WHEEL TO LOCK UP, HE WAS BARLEY ABLE TO GET IT ONTO THE SHOULDER AND IT LEFT HIM STRANDED SINCE HIS TRUCK WOULDN'T START BACK UP. FAST FORWARD A LITTLE FURTHER, HE DID SOME RESEARCH AND FOUND OUT THAT FORD PUT FAULTY FUEL PUMPS ON ALL THEIR DIESEL TRUCKS, THE PUMPS CAN'T HANDLE US DIESEL, IT'S NOT LUBRICATED ENOUGH FOR THE PUMPS, SO THE PUMP DESTROYS ITSELF AND SENDS METAL SHARDS THROUGH THE WHOLE ENTIRE FUEL…

MULTIPLE TIMES WHILE DRIVING ON HIGHWAY AT 50 MPH THE VEHICLE STARTS SHAKING VIOLENTLY AND ONLY WAY TO CORRECT IT IS TO JAM ON THE BRAKES AND GET DOWN TO AROUND 25MPH AND THEN RE ACCELERATE...AN INATE AMOUNT OF PPL HAVE THIS SAME PROBLEM I HOPE THAT FORD WILL ADDRESS.THIS ISSUE WITH A RECALL BEFORE PPL ARE KILLED BECAUSE OF THIS OBVIOUS FLAW IN THEIR DESIGN!

MY NEWER P/U JUST OUTSIDE OF WARRANTY IS LEAKING FROM THE RADIATOR. SEEMS TO BE ON ONGOING ISSUE WITH THE 6.7 L ENGINE. FORD WILL NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCT AND ASSIST WITH THE LARGE COST OF FIXING. FORD DEALERSHIP TOOK A LOOK AT IT AND SAYS IT NEEDS A NEW RADIATOR. THIS SHOULD NOT BE HAPPENING AROUND 40K MILES. JUST A FEW DROPS ON THE GROUND EACH DAY ON THE GARAGE FLOOR.

THIS VEHICLE IS EQUIPPED WITH AUTOMATIC HEADLIGHTS. REGARDLESS OF SWITCH POSITION, THE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER LIGHTS STAY OFF WHEN THE SENSOR DETECTS ANY DAYLIGHT AT ALL. THE DESIGN OF THE DASH MAKES SEEING THE SPEEDOMETER EITHER EXTREMELY DIFFICULT OR IMPOSSIBLE, ON OVERCAST DAYS AND IN LOW LIGHT SITUATIONS. THIS IS A KNOWN ISSUE, BUT THE MANUFACTURER DOES NOT ACKNOWLEDGE IT AS A PROBLEM.

I ORDERED A NEW F-350 POWER STROKE DIESEL IN NOVEMBER. I WAITED UNTIL JAN 22 FOR IT TO BE DELIVERED TO ME. $65,000. WHEN I WENT TO PICK IT UP AT SUNRISE FORD IN FT PIERCE FLORIDA, IT LOOKED LIKE THE WHEEL HUBS WERE RUSTED SO I LOOKED UNDERNEATH. I COULD NOT BELIEVE WHAT I SAW. THE ENTIRE CARRIAGE TO THE DRIVE TRAIN WAS NOT ONLY CORRODED AND RUSTED, BUT HOLES WERE DEVELOPING IN THE DRIVE SHAFT, THE TIE RODS, THE CARRIAGE BOLTS, THE WHEEL SUPPORTS, THE U-JOINTS...NOT SURFACE RUST. The Office of Defects Investigation (ODI) opened this RQ to investigate allegations that the scope and remedy of safety recall 13V-535 were inadequate. Recall 13V-535 was limited to a relatively small population of Ambulance Package vehicles and ODI received complaints of pickup trucks and Fire Engine Prep Package vehicles being affected by the same defect. Ford manufactured approximately 555,985 subject vehicles between February 22, 2010 and January 30, 2015 that may be affected by defective EGT sensors and Powertrain Control Module (PCM) software calibration. The subject vehicles are equipped with four (4) EGT sensors to monitor engine operating conditions. An EGT sensor fault may produce false exhaust over-temperature signals.
