We had to file a State Farm Insurance Claim ($4016.36 of repairs done to repair the engine including electrical, emission system, cowl, fuel system, and insulation.) This was completed XXX. We have been faithfully spraying the engine with Rodent Repellent, using Natural Repeller packs, and rat snap traps. We have regularly checked the engine to see if they have come back. Yesterday, XXX, low and behold there was evidence of rat/mice droppings, insulation, food, nesting, etc. We again have spent time and money to clean the engine and use the above-mentioned products to try to protect the engine. While driving my 2022 Ford Maverick on a public road, the vehicle suddenly lost acceleration and would not respond normally when I pressed the accelerator. I was left in the roadway and could not safely continue driving, creating a risk of being struck by other traffic. The vehicle was later inspected by a Ford dealership and diagnosed with a major internal transmission failure at approximately 62,000 miles. The Ford dealership recommended a rebuilt/replacement transmission. The vehicle remains available for inspection. I did not have advance warning that the transmission was about to fail.

I had stopped at an intersection and when I applied the gas, the truck stuttered a bit before going. It ran okay for less than a mile. I stopped at the next intersection and when I applied the gas, the truck shuttered, started to go then just stopped. It stayed running but didn't want to go. I was able to get it through the intersection but that was it. The message i am getting is powertrain malfunction/reduced power. When we put our diagnosis tool on it, we get code P0757.
