Ford has failed to remedy the safety recall campaign 25SA9/25v695 for my vehicle in a timely manner. A rear view camera that displays a blank or distorted image while in reverse can reduce or distort the drivers view of what is behind the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash. Their own stated deadline has passed.

In October 2025 a recall was announced concerning the rear view camera in my vehicle. A remedy date was provided to NHTSA by Ford with a date range ending July 3 2026. As of October 07 2026 my vin is still showing remedy not available. Just last month my rear view camera has started to malfunction and most of the time it either shows a black screen a blue screen or says contact dealer. Occasionally it will work normally. Manufacturer Recall Number25SA9 and NHTSA Recall Number25v695 specifically includes this issue for my vehicle yet Ford still has no remedy available for my vehicle.
