Sun roof drains failed flooding the car and destroying electronics in the passenger wheel well. This is a problem that happens with every single L405 ever produced and the manufactures answer for it is a complete replacement of the sunroof and insert. The cost of the repair will mechanically total a vehicle that's as little as five years old. The actual solution is 3.5 hours of labor and less than $100 of parts but its not acknowledged by Land Rover simply because every L405 in existence will eventually have this exact failure that is due to a poor design with dissimilar metals in a wet environment creating electrical current and causing rapid deterioration of the less noble metal (Drain…

I own a 2020 Land Rover, VIN [XXX], which is affected by NHTSA Safety Recall 26V-248 / Jaguar Land Rover Recall D126. I brought the vehicle to an authorized Land Rover dealership after the check-engine light illuminated. While the vehicle was at the dealership, I requested that the open D126 safety recall also be performed. The dealer informed me that they could not perform the recall software update because my 12-volt battery is âalmost failingâ and told me that I would first have to pay out of pocket to replace the battery. I am concerned about this because Recall 26V-248 specifically involves the vehicleâs DC-DC converter and insufficient electrical load balancing. According to the…
