At approximately 84226 miles, the subject 2022 GMC Sierra 2500HD AT4 experienced a transmission cooler line failure. The ownerâs preliminary observation is that an adjacent oil line contacted and abraded the transmission cooler line, ultimately producing a through-wall opening. Driver (Owners Son) experienced perceived issues with shifting on his drive home including surging RPM. By the time he arrived home he had concerns about it not shifting gears properly. The next day the owner noticed vehicle fluids on the concrete driveway under the vehicle. Vehicle would not engage in forward or reverse gears. Owner observed a burnt smell in the trucksâ cabin. Purchased this 2022 GMC AT4 2500HD in 2022. Drove off the lot and traveled 40 miles home. Got hom,000e and pulled out of my driveway and noticed terrible bump in second gear I believe. Notified dealer and returned truck for them to replace 2 valve bodies. One week later the truck experienced terribel bumps in a downshift fashion at slow speeds, like it's downshifting from 3rd to 2nd gear. Returned truck and they replaced transmission. Problem improved some but now with 48,000 miles if your in slow speed downshifting world around 10 mph, it will lock up or hard bump that makes you think you've hit someone in front of you when you're in heavy traffic. It's been doing this at random times…

The Exhaust Pressure Differential Sensor Pipe (boost pipe) blew off while towing a heavy trailer uphill on a busy interstate. I had to cross 3 lanes of traffic to get as far as possible off the road. The truck was sent into limp mode and would barely crawl. Our lives were put at risk of being hit by the many tractor trailers traveling that highway, or another driver traveling at high speeds. The truck was eventually towed to the nearest GM dealer for service. The pipe was replaced, but the faulty one was not kept on hand. The repair was not covered by GM. The extended warranty covered the pipe repair only, with out of pocket still being over $400. There were no warning lights on the dash…

Filled tank with diesel and truck wouldnât turn back on. We were next to a jiffy lube and they were able to run a scan and it said there was a broken fuel module. Thereâs only around 60,000 miles on it, itâs 4 years old, and left my son and I stranded.

My 2022 GMC Sierra 2500HD was previously repaired under GM safety recall N232426400 / NHTSA recall 24V060 for the power-unlatching tailgate switch, which can fail from water intrusion. The recall repair was completed and the recall now shows as closed. Recently, the same tailgate switch problem occurred again. The dealer diagnosed water intrusion/corrosion affecting the tailgate release switch circuit, including damage to the related wiring harness/connector. GMC customer assistance stated they could not assist because the recall is closed. I am reporting this as a possible failed or inadequate recall remedy. The same water-intrusion condition addressed by the recall appears to have…

The same thing that happenes to the grill mold in recall N242490120 happened to my vehicle with the hood vent ornament. For reference, the Part number is 84802205/85057002. I was driving on the highway to work and it flew off which caused it to scrape my hood and chip my windshield.
