The 2025 Grand Design Reflection has 2 safety recalls and 1 owner complaint on file with NHTSA. The most-reported problem area is service brakes (1 complaint).
Problem: Grand Design RV, LLC (Grand Design) is recalling certain 2024-2027 Reflection fifth wheel recreational trailers. The auto detect solar controller may select a 24 volt output when the electrical system is designed for 12 volts. The incorrect voltage may damage the 7-way bulkhead power center and other circuits.
Risk: While damage to the power center increases the risk of a fire, damage to the electrical system may cause the trailer brakes or exterior lightings to fail, increasing the risk of a crash.
Fix: An over-the-air (OTA) software update will be released. Lighting will be inspected and repaired as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed November 16, 2026. Owners may contact Grand Design customer service at 1-574-825-9679. Grand Design's number for this recall is 910068.

On XXX the brakes locked about 12 times at a stop sign intersection and about 4 more times entering a four-lane highway with cars waiting behind; I had to unplug the trailer connector in traffic, leaving no brakes or lights. Not the tow vehicle (F-250 scanned, no codes; same lockup with a second truck). Blue Compass W/O XXX shows a short-to-battery fault on each wheel (Lippert case XXX). Each fix was only a controller reset; the cause has not been found or repaired and the fault returned. Locked…
